Held at 9:00am once a month in Rooms 1 & 2 of the Hall on the first Sunday of the month. This is a traditional service open to anyone who wants to experience a quiet and peaceful environment. It is sometimes part of a Teaching Series, and sometimes includes Communion. There are usually more traditional hymns, a short talk and a chance to pray. There are no crèche facilities during this service.
Our 10:30am morning congregation is a diverse and friendly church family made up of people of all ages. Everyone is very welcome! The service is contemporary with band led music, Bible readings and prayer as we seek to worship God. Some of these services include Communion. There are crèche facilities as well as Junior Church groups in which the children learn about Jesus in a safe and fun environment. Children usually stay in the service for the first 20 minutes and then leave to go to their groups. Young People in Year 8 and above also join the first part of the service before going to Y-Club. Typically, the service finishes around 11:45am, and is followed by coffee. On the 1st Sunday of each month we hold a family service, planned in a more “child friendly” format. There is Prayer Ministry after all services for anyone who would like someone to pray with them.
The 6:30pm services encompass a variety of worship formats. On the 3rd Sunday of each month we hold a café evening in the Hall. This informal evening covers a variety of topics. We may have DVDs, speakers, or debates, all discussed informally around tables with coffee and cake! On the 1st Sunday of each month we hold a Prayer Service, which is usually quiet and contemplative. Other evening services held include Communion and Wholeness and Healing. With the exception of our café evenings, the songs and music include a mixture of hymns and songs, which are piano led.
